New Blog of AMURT-Haiti with videos, photos ans stories from the field
www.amurtayiti.wordpress.com
AMURT-Haiti volunteers work in the most diverse conditions -- from field assessment joining the village konbits (traditional Haitian work sessions based on solidarity and cooperation to build collective infrastructure) to leading the project operations and the coordination with the work of dozens of local and global organizations active in the country. At every step we live and work side by side with the community, learning and exchanging our experiences and values. From this perspective the volunteers from AMURT-Haiti have created a NEW BLOG -- www.amurtayiti.wordpress.com -- to share the news from the current relief disaster efforts in Gonaives and the Northwest of the Artibonite region. This new space will also include updates on the upcoming projects and impressions from the inside rural and urban reality of Haiti. Videos, photos and personal stories will help to illustrate the rich Haitian humanity mixed with oppressing social and environmental circumstances.
